Hundreds braved the cold to enjoy an annual holiday tradition in Knoxville Thursday.

The annual Living Windows event and Lighted Holiday parade offered spectators lots of wonderful sights and activities.

The KNIA/KRLS Big Red Radio was on hand playing holiday music throughout the evening.

Businesses in downtown Knoxville had many display windows filled with live participants following the theme of a Country Christmas. Children were able to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Grand Theater while other businesses offered warm drinks and snacks. Carriage rides were available for trips around the square.

The Lighted Holiday Parade offered brilliant and humorous displays for onlookers. Here are the winners of the Lighted Parade:

Best of Parade – Quality Home Care
Fan Favorite – Weiler
Best Overall – New Covenant Church
Best Performing – Quality Home Care
Best use of Lights – Knoxville Hospital
Best Kid’s Entry – Cub Scouts

Also, Candi Hatch of Knoxville won a $100 gift certificate from Gibson Jewelry.
