A total of 37 different student-athletes from Central found their names on the 2014 fall sports Iowa Conference all-academic team. The Dutch football team had the most, with 12 making it on the list. The women’s soccer team was next with seven, women’s cross country and volleyball each had five. To make it to the all-academic team, a student-athlete must possess at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average, be a competitor at the varsity level, and be at least a sophomore.
