In what will be a busy day for Central College athletics, the Dutch men’s and women’s basketball teams head to two separate venues for their 2014-15 season opener this afternoon. The women will be on the road to take on Grinnell at 2:00 p.m. The Dutch ladies bring back a majority of their team from a year ago, and in the first game of the season, Coach Chelsea Petersen is looking for strong defense against a fundamentally sound Pioneers squad. The men are at home against Nebraska Wesleyan for an evening contest, and Coach Craig Douma wants to see his guys take better care of the ball early in the season. The men are scheduled to tip-off inside of the P.H. Kuyper Gymnasium at 7:00 p.m.
