A Knoxville woman has been charged with attempting to stab an individual with a knife.

A Marion County Sheriff’s deputy arrested 22-year-old Erinn Elizabeth Riggen just before 7pm Saturday night at residence on Kennedy Street.

According to court records, Riggen attempted to jab a knife at the victim because she wanted to be alone. She’s been charged with Assault While Displaying A Dangerous Weapon.

A hearing on the matter has been set for Tuesday, November 25th.
