Not having a lot of talent gone from a year ago, the Pella Christian basketball team is looking to make strides this season and make some noise in every game they play. The Eagles lost only three seniors to graduation, and bring back a host of athletes that are agile and can shoot the ball well. Coach Larry Hessing says the guys have been a little revved up during practices the past several days, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Pella Christian begins the season on Monday on the road against a state tournament team from a year ago, West Marshall.
