Wrapping up their season in the regional semifinals with a loss to state tournament bound, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, Pella Christian’s volleyball team had nothing to hang their heads about after an extremely successful 2014 campaign. Coach Cindy Nikkel said her team set some goals and tackled many of them this year. Nikkel says it will be tough losing such a big chunk of seniors, but adds she’s excited about the youth of this program and interested to see what the seniors-to-be will do in 2015. The Eagles went 24 – 12 this season.
