Movember has been a way to put a face on men’s health for more than a decade.

The First United Methodist Church in Knoxville has been doing their part this year with a Movember challenge of their own. Started by Pastor Lane Riggle, 25 members are letting their facial hair grow throughout the month of November as a way to bring awareness to prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s mental health.

The participating Movember members will have a celebration following church on November 30th to compare their facial prowess and bring awareness to men’s health.

Riggle says they’re taking donations for the Movember Foundation and encouraging members to donate to the foundation website.
