A total of eight seniors will not be playing for the Pella Christian football team come 2015. However, the good news for Eagles fans is that most of the kids back next year are in skill positions. David Kacmarynski will be a junior, and he was the team’s quarterback and leading rusher in terms of yardage. Miles Wichhart and Levi Jungling, each sophomores this season, were second and third behind Kacmarynski, respectively, with the latter of the two catching 58 passes for over 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns. Coach Rich Kacmarynski says the future is indeed bright for his team. The Eagles finished 6 – 4 in 2014, and Kacmarynski adds his team is hungry to take down Iowa City Regina for a district championship next year.
