Christmas Gifts For Children

The second annual Christmas Gifts for Children program is underway throughout Marion County.

Crossroads Cares Amy Zuck says the event allows families in need to give a gift wish list that can then be adopted by other families willing to donate presents to them. Marion County Public Health Emergency Response Planner Teresa Higginbotham is also helping to organize the event and says the outpouring of community support has been tremendous.

A list of available families to adopt for the Christmas Gifts for Children program is available at the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce. Gifts can be dropped off at Marion County Public Health on Monday, Dec. 15th, and Tuesday, Dec. 16th.

Crossroads Cares, Marion County Public Health, the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, and Helping Hands are all sponsoring the event.
