The Marion County Historical Society presented a donation check of $400 dollars to the Red Rock Community Action Program from proceeds received during the Festival of Trees celebration in Knoxville last weekend.

Historical Society Co-chair Bev Jones made the presentation to Program Coordinator Nancy Hulgan Monday.

The Red Rock Community Action Program offers assistance to low-income families by helping to pay utility bills, providing funds for emergency home repairs, and food for those in need, among other programs.

Four completely decorated trees were also donated by the Historical Society to go to families in need through the Red Rock Community Action Program.
