The Pella City Council submitted comment to the Environment Protection Agency about proposed carbon emissions regulations at their meeting on Tuesday.

City Administrator Mike Nardini says that the concern of the city lies with how the regulations outlined in the EPA’s Clean Power Plan would impact costs for Missouri River Energy Services, and the reliability of the electric grid when trying to meet the new standards. The comments have been submitted as a part of an open comment period. We have more with Nardini about the latest in City of Pella affairs on Let’s Talk Pella.
