The Pella City Council will look to submit comment to the EPA about potential emissions regulations at their meeting tonight.

In the proposed letter, the city expresses concerns with the cost of new regulations based on a review by the city’s electric provider, Missouri River Energy Services. They will also hold the 3rd reading of an ordinance that would establish a historic preservation committee. The Pella City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday each month at 7 p.m. inside the Public Safety Complex on Liberty Street.
