A campaign that saw them go 19 – 20 and perhaps just a few sets away from making it to the state tournament, the Pella High volleyball team had five names on the Little Hawkeye All-Conference list for 2014. Unanimously chosen on the first team was Makenna Bogaard. The junior led the team in kills and aces with 296 and 44, respectively. Senior Jessica Holterhaus was also selected to the first team for her play. Holterhaus had 171 kills, second best on the team, and 59 blocks to lead the Lady Dutch. Setter Kiki Pingel made her way to the second team with almost 600 assists on the year. Jenna Murphy and Katie VanderMolen each received an honorable mention. Pella finished with a 19 – 20 record and loses just two seniors for the 2015 season.
