Pella Regional Health Center will be opening a full service pharmacy in early summer on Monroe Street near Pella Medical Clinic. The pharmacy aims to improve the quality of care of Pella Regional’s patients while reducing the costs of their medications, and hopes to add the convenience of having a pharmacy less than a block from their physician’s office. Pella Regional’s pharmacy will also be able to help patients save on their health care costs by reducing their admissions and Emergency visits due to compliance with medication through continuity of care from physician to pharmacy.

“Finding new ways to serve our patients and their families is a high priority for us. This full-service pharmacy is an opportunity for Pella Regional to provide more services and convenience to our patients,” said Bob Kroese, Chief Executive Officer at Pella Regional. “While we are still awaiting certain approvals from the city, we anticipate that our pharmacy will open early next summer.”
