SSMID Salon 114 - 11-18 2

Salon 114 in Knoxville has become the latest business to receive SSMID money for work on the exterior of their business.

The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors presented a check to owner Renea Marshall for $1,250 to be used for improvements to the brickwork in front of the salon. Marshall says the funds helped make the shop look nice and the town look good.

SSMID is a voter-approved, self-imposed tax levy that has benefited many downtown property owners. This marks the fourth SSMID Project completed this year. Five other projects remain in progress.
