PCM will be represented in Fort Dodge today as Rachel Peter and Blaise Winegardner get to run on the state cross country meet course for the first time this afternoon. Despite performing well at the state track meet at Drake Stadium the last few years, Peter has unfortunately been struck by a bug at the same time the state qualifying meet takes place, and has been unable to even have a chance to get to the state level in cross country. Winegardner has made impressive strides as just a freshman, and Coach Eric Karr had some pretty simple, but meaningful, advice for both of his runners. Peter will run with the Class 2A girls at 1:00 p.m, with Winegardner and the 2A boys at 1:30.
