The Bomber girls knocked the Lady Dutch out of the playoffs last year and have started this year hot with a 4 – 0 record and are ranked sixth in the state in Class 4A. Pella is fresh off a quality win over Dallas Center – Grimes on Friday, and Coach Jerod Garland says it would be another “resume-building” victory if they can knock off Ballard. In the boys’ game, the Bombers own a 3 – 0 record, with a win over Norwalk, who beat the D-C-G boys earlier, whom also conquered the Little Dutch last week.
