With the kids finishing up Fall semester finals and families hitting the roadways for the holidays, area police are reminding those driving to obey all traffic laws.

Lt. Paul Haase with Pella Police says that extended holiday breaks typically see an uptick in traffic-related incidents due to the increase volume of cars on the road. He says to slow down, wear a seat belt, and avoid distractions like texting while driving to help keep yourself and others in the community safe.
