Albia’s boys’ and girls’ offense stymied Twin Cedars on the hardwood on Saturday in a pair of non-conference games. The Lady Dees defeated the Saber girls, 52 – 39. Shyanne Denburger and Liz Rowley put up ten points each, and Allie Utterback put in eight in the losing effort, as Twin Cedars’ girls fall to 2 – 4 on the season. The boys did not have any better luck against a dominant Blue Demons squad that routed the Sabers, 82 – 47. Otis Roby stood out with a 15-point effort. Twin Cedars’ boys fall to a 3 – 4 record, and they’ll play another varsity doubleheader on Tuesday against Murray.
