Ames Construction and Missouri River Energy Services are hard at work at the Lake Red Rock Hydroelectric Dam Project.

Bill Radio with Missouri River Energy Services tells KNIA/KRLS news that crews are working on building reinforcement walls on both sides of the dam. Radio says higher than normal water levels have slowed down some work on the upstream side, but says he’s unsure what the impact of the overall timeline will be. He adds that it’s also too early to tell if there are any delays in reopening County Highway T-15, which was originally slated to reopen in mid-to-late January.
