They won’t see schools as big as Pella, Grinnell, Dallas Center-Grimes, et al in the postseason, but it’s still important for the Pella Christian boys’ basketball team to play them as they make their way through the season. The Eagles cruised to five straight wins to begin the season, but hit a roadblock when they played the Little Dutch before the break. The loss exposed some things to the Eagles’ coaches that they will have to address before they resume play next week, because, as Coach Larry Hessing puts it, the teams in the conference are bigger and tougher yet. The Eagles will head to Albia on Monday for their first game in 2015.
