A comparison of the Uniform and International Fire Codes will be part of a presentation to the Knoxville City Council during their final regular meeting of the year tonight.

The presentation comes as the council begins to consider changes to the city fire code.

Also on the agenda will be a discussion regarding the union contract for city employees, consideration of options regarding a request to build a home on Baker Street, and the purchase of an SUV for the police department.

The Knoxville City Council will meet at City Hall beginning at 6:15pm and can be heard on AM 1320 and FM 95.3 KNIA.
