Entering the 2014-15 season, the Pella Christian boys’ basketball players and their coaches knew they had some good shooters on the team. Through six games, the Eagles are averaging exactly 70 points per game, which is tied for tenth best in Class 2A, and they are shooting just over 50% from the field, which is 13th best in the state in their class. Coach Larry Hessing says, overall, the team is executing well. The Eagles are shooting around 31% from beyond the arc and average almost ten offensive rebounds per game. Respectively, the Eagles come back from vacation with games against Albia, Norwalk, North Polk, Grinnell, and Dallas Center Grimes to open up the 2015 portion of their season.
