Food Drive 2014

The 13th Annual KNIA/KRLS Marion County Food Drive has been a huge success once again with thousands of dollars worth of donations already made in support of the effort.

KNIA/KRLS General Manager Jim Butler says they’ve received matched donations from the Marion County Farm Bureau and the Knoxville Rotary Club. An anonymous $1000 donation was also made at the Knoxville HyVee, among all the food and other donations they’ve received so far. Butler says he’s thankful to all the area listeners, sponsors, and staff for making the event such a success.

The food drive continues with several more events in Knoxville this weekend. Friday the Big Red Radio will be at Carriker’s Auto Outlet from 2pm until 5pm collecting items.

Then on Saturday, you can find the Big Red Radio at the Knoxville HyVee from 9am until noon and at the Presbyterian Church in Knoxville from 6pm until 8pm.
