First place in the South Central Conference girls basketball race is on the line tonight as Knoxville hosts Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont. The two teams are 4-0 in conference play but recently have been going in opposite directions. The Panthers are streaking at six-and-oh on the season coming off a 56-50 win over Davis County on Tuesday while the Rockets are reeling after two straight losses to Pella Christian and Grinnell. Knoxville Coach Jim Uitermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS they key is to rebound and get the Rockets out of their game. The boys will play a winless Eddyville squad that got blown out by Ankeny Christian on Tuesday. Knoxville is coming off its first loss of the season Tuesday at Davis County.
