The 2014-15 season didn’t start out too well for the PCM boys’ basketball team. After an opening night win over South Hamilton, the Mustangs were dropped by both Roland-Story and Pella Christian to fall to 1 – 2. Since then, however, PCM has responded with five straight wins, all of them by double-digit margins, including a 31-point win over a surprising Knoxville squad. With a relatively younger team before him, Coach Fred Lorensen says there’s a lot of praise to be given out to his guys for responding the way they have after a slow start. PCM is 6 – 2 on the year entering the holiday break, and they are back to work on Tuesday, January 6, at home against a 4 – 3 Nevada club.
