A sea of presents has filled Marion County Public Health courtesy of the “All Wrapped Up” program.
It offers people the opportunity to provide gifts for area children this holiday season.
Marion County Public Health’s Teresa Higginbotham says 207 families were adopted this year for gifts to go to 510 children. Crossroads Cares Amy Zuck, who started the program last year, feels the outpouring of gifts from the community shows how much they want all children to have a good Christmas.
The program is sponsored by Marion County Public Health, Crossroads Cares, the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, Helping Hands, and Knoxville Hospital and Clinics, along with partnerships from Pleasantville schools and Crossroads of Pella.
The gifts will be distributed at Marion County Public Health on today.
