At seven-and-oh you would think the Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad is rolling along with no issues. For the most part you would be right, however, Coach Jim Uitermakrt knows there are several things he has to work on to keep the Panther Express rolling. One thing is offensive rebounding. The Panthers are seventh in class 4A in total rebounding, but are second in 4A in offensive rebounds. Uitermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS while it is good to get offensive rebounds and get second chance points, he would like to see some of those missed shots go in when the season resumes on Saturday. The Panthers are shooting just 33% from the field this season. Knoxville will host Newton on Saturday.
