Way back on December 2 was the last time PCM basketball fans were able to stay in the comforts of Monroe to see their beloved Mustangs play. Tonight, that “streak” comes to an end, as both Mustangs’ squads try to extend their more attractive three-game winning streaks to four against Saydel. The Eagles’ girls are 7 – 1 on the year and must contend with a PCM team that has surged after dropping a game to Pella Christian last week. Both girls’ teams are about as evenly matched as can be in virtually every category. The same cannot be said for the boys’ game. Saydel has struggled to a 2 – 4 record, scoring only 37 points per game and shooting less than 35% from the field.
