After a sweep of PCM on Monday, the Pella Christian girls’ and boys’ hoops teams will try for another pair of wins against the struggling Oskaloosa Indians here this evening. The Indians’ girls just won their first game of the season on Tuesday over Centerville, and are led by Taylor Richardson, who averages a little over 18 points per game, which is nearly half of Oskaloosa’s total per game so far this year. Pella Christian’s boys just finished a run of four games in eight days, and Coach Larry Hessing says the past three days have been needed to get reset and re-focused. The Indians are 2 – 1 with a loss to Knoxville sandwiched between wins over Fairfield and Centerville. You can hear the call of tonight’s doubleheader inside Pella Christian High School live on KNIAKRLS.com, with Cory Houser and Wynne Veenstra. Pre-game coverage will begin at 6:00 p.m. with tip-off at 6:15. There will be a delayed broadcast of the twinbill on 92.1 KRLS immediately following the Pella High pair of games.
