A Pella man charged with weapons related felonies last week has entered a plea.

Twenty-four year old Justin Dean Vermeer of Pella entered a plea of not guilty on Wednesday to charges of possession of a firearm by a felon, trafficking stolen weapons first offense, and 3rd degree burglary, all Class D Felonies. He’s accused of stealing weapons from a Pella home in November and then selling them to another person. Vermeer is also facing felony charges in three separate arrests, including two counts of forgery, 3rd degree burglary, a class C felony, and ongoing criminal conduct, a Class B felony. His pre-trial conference begins on January 6th.
