Pella High School Band students, parents, and staff are taking to the sunny shores of Florida this winter break.

The Marching Dutch are performing in the Magic Kingdom Parade today and Citrus parade Tuesday, December 30th in Orlando. Director of Bands Jason Pentico says that this is an great opportunity for students to see a different part of the country, and the trip acts as a reward for the hours of work that students and their familes give to put together successful band productions. Pentico adds that the cost for students was significantly reduced due to contributions from the community.
