Things did not go Twin Cedars’ way inside the gym last night, as the girls’ and boys’ teams each were thumped by Davis County. The lady Sabers fell 56 – 32; Allie Utterback led the way with 18 points, and Shyanne Denburger added six. The Saber boys dropped a tough one to the Mustangs, 81 – 56. Otis Roby had 16 points, Trace Embray scored 13, and Colton Spaur threw in 11. Coach Alan Stewart tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his team had a tough time shooting the ball. Twin Cedars’ girls fall to 0 – 3 on the year, and the boys are now 2 – 1. They’ll each come home for the first time this season with a doubleheader against Seymour tonight.
