Pleasantville’s grapplers were fifth in points overall at Saturday’s Pride of Iowa Conference tournament. The Trojans had one weight class champion, and that was Sawyer Phillips at 145 pounds. Six other Pleasantville wrestlers finished in the top four of their weight class. Griffin McBride was runner-up at 132, Joe Kauffman was also second at 195, and James Haberling finished second at the heavyweight (285). Chaz Clark came in third, and Will Anthony and Hunter Tyree each came away with fourth place finishes. Pleasantville is done for 2014 and they’ll wrestle in a quad at PCM on January 8.
