Those planning to travel early this week for Christmas may encounter some hazardous weather conditions, especially traveling north and west of the area.
Meteorologist Kenny Podrazik with the National Weather Service says that most snow accumulations will take place north of Highway 30 in the state on Monday and Tuesday. However, weather back here is expected to be mild and wet. Daytime highs in Marion County are expected to stay above freezing through Friday, with breezy conditions expected throughout the day on Christmas Eve.
