Central Decatur defeated both of Pleasantville’s basketball team’s in Tuesday night hoops action. The Cardinal girls trounced the Trojans, 72 – 20, while the boys’ game was much closer, but still ended in Central Decatur’s favor, 60 – 51. The Trojans scored 21 points in the first quarter and held a sizeable lead in the third before going on an untimely drought. Trever Zoss scored 15 to lead Pleasantville, as the Trojan boys are now 4 – 3 while the girls are now 1 – 7. Both teams are at Nodaway Valley for a big conference match-up on Friday.
