The Knoxville Basketball Squads pulled the sweep over Davis County last night. The girls put on an offensive show and boat raced Davis County out of the arena 75-49. Meredith Cunningham and Ashley Hawkshead combined for 52 of the Panthers 75 points with each scoring 26. The Panthers shot 51% form the field and 41% from three point land. Coach Jim Uitermarkt told KNIA/KRLS Sports the girls ran the offense well. The boys, for the second time this week, earned a hard fought win as they beat Davis County 66-63, despite being outrebounded 38-24. Trent Davis scored 14 points to lead the Panthers. The Knoxville girls are 13-1 and have a chance to clinch a share of the South Central Conference title with a win tonight over Chariton, the Boys are now 10-3 and 8-1 in the conference and have a showdown with the Chargers.
