By the time the Knoxville Wrestling Squad gets back on the mat for competition, the Panthers will have had over two weeks away. That is fine with Coach Doug Hatch. He tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he gave the guys almost of full week off from practice so they could heal up and have a break from the daily grind. When they come back to practice he says they will focus on technique and use the moves that most benefit each wrestler. The Panthers are in action next on January eighth hosting a quad with Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, Albia, and Chariton.
