Central men’s track and field multi-eventer, Eric Larson, was named the Iowa Conference men’s indoor track and field events performer of the week. Larson, in his first track competition since early 2014 before an injury prevented him a chance to defend his decathlon national championship, won the heptathlon at the Dutch Athletics Classic by over 600 points, and missed his personal best by only 38. His score is the highest in the heptathlon in all of Division III at the moment. Central is next in action up in Minnesota this Friday for the St. Olaf quadrangular.
