The return of Senior Tessa Howerzyl has seemingly revived a Pella Christian team that went through a dismal stretch on offense without her. And since she’s made her way back, that’s made life a bit easier on Sophomores Brooke Mitrisin and Cailey Terpstra, especially the latter. Terpstra led the team in scoring both on Tuesday against Oskaloosa and against Newton on Friday. But Coach Kevin Van Maanen says the most noticeable difference in her game is the way her confidence has improved after experiencing time without Howerzyl on the floor. The Eagles return to action on Friday against rivals Pella High on 92.1 KRLS.
