Despite a successful winter donation drive at the Pella Food Shelf, help is always needed to feed the less fortunate in Marion County.
Director Melissa Zula says they are looking for donations of non-perishable food items, money, and toiletries year-round. She hopes many residents will continue to stock their shelves. Zula says those who need help have to do very little to qualify. The Pella Food Shelf is located at Peace Lutheran Church and is open to anyone needing assistance living in the Pella Community School District on Tuesdays from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. and 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
