The Dallas Center – Grimes/Grinnell road mountain has been scaled and conquered by the Pella High basketball teams. The Lady Dutch were able to take advantage of a Deja Jackson-less Tigers’ squad and prevailed, 50 – 31. Jessica Holterhaus and Kiara Bradley each scored ten to lead the way for Pella, who improves to 13 – 2 overall and have now won 11 straight. The Little Dutch had to hold on late, but came out with a 64 – 56 victory. Isaac Naaktgeboren scored 21 points and had nine rebounds for the Little Dutch, who are now 12 – 2 on the season and are in the midst of a ten-game streak of their own. Pella High hosts Pella Christian this Friday.
