The Pleasantville girls’ basketball team trailed 30-22 at half, but Southeast Warren pulled away in the second half to win 63-46 on Tuesday night. The Lady Trojans battled tough throughout the game, but couldn’t limit the second chance opportunities and turnovers. Kennedy Core led the way for Pleasantville with 19 points and Kelsee Van Haalen chipped in 12 points. Pleasantville’s boys’ basketball team ended a three-game losing streak, as they won on the road against Southeast Warren 65-47. The game was never in doubt, as the Trojans raced out to a 22-12 first quarter lead and never looked back as they used transition offense and second chance opportunities to take down the Warhawks. Zeb Adreon led the way for Pleasantville with 20 points and sophomore Brady Elder added 17 points. Trojans’ head coach, Tom Wilkins stressed the importance of a team effort win and having other players step up and have big games.
