The Pleasantville girl’s basketball team picked up their first victory in over a month on Friday night at home against East Union 55-28. The Lady Trojans used a balanced scoring attack, led by Kennedy Core and Kelsee Van Haalen each scoring 15 points and forced East Union to turn the ball over. The Pleasantville boy’s basketball team picked up their fourth straight victory on Friday night at home against East Union 76-42. The Trojans got out to a fast start and never looked back, leading at the end of the first quarter, 19-8. Sophomore point guard Brady Elder led the Trojans with 29 points, knocking down six three-point shots. Pleasantville boys’ head coach Tom Wilkins says the bench play has been a big part of the four game winning streak (actuality).
