Four Pleasantville boys achieved double figures in the scoring column, and the Trojans took a step back above .500 after beating Southwest Valley yesterday on the hardwood, 73 – 54. Trever Zoss scored 20 and Brady Elder chipped in 16 of his own for the now 6 – 5 Pleasantville boys. The Trojan girls fell 62 – 40 in their contest. They fell down 16 points and fought back to within eight in the third before eventually getting too far out of reach. Kennedy Core put in 12 points to lead the way, and Pleasantville’s girls are now 1 – 11 on the year, and both teams are off to rest until Tuesday when they head to Wayne.
