Friday’s victory over Albia was the tenth for the Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad this season. It also meant the 100th win for Coach Jim Uitermarkt since he took over the program in 2007. Uitermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that he never envisioned himself as a varsity coach…but has made the most of it the last eight seasons. Uitermarkt now sports a 100-and-72 record at Knoxville. The Panthers are off tonight and get back to action this Friday at Clarke.
