The Pella Christian Eagles return to the hardwood looking to bounce back against Norwalk after hanging tough but falling against rivals Pella. The Eagles opened the season against the Warriors to begin the 2015 portion of their basketball schedule, earning a split with a girls’ 48-45 win and a boys’ 52-63 loss. The girls had a trio that posted double digits in points, led by a double-double from Autumn Vos and 13 points from Tessa Howerzyl in a comeback victory on January 6th. He says while he’s happy overall with his team’s performance against Pella last Friday, there’s still plenty to improve upon with the postseason looming. Boys Head Coach Larry Hessing says when the boys lost in game number one, Norwalk’s height provided a major roadblock, one he hopes his team can break through. Our coverage begins from the Eagles’ home gym at 6 p.m. with pregame live on KRLS2 on kniakrls.com
