The Pella Christian Eagles got up early and never looked back in their 53-33 victory over CMB as heard live on 92.1 KRLS. Tessa Howerzyl knocked down eight of her 13 points in the first period, and Brooke Mitrisin tallied 11, including a pair of shots from beyond the arc. Head coach Kevin Van Maanen says both sides of the ball played much better than they have in recent weeks. Their 12th win of the year snaps a three-game losing streak. The Eagles continue in the Class 2A Regional round Tuesday on the road at West Marshall.
