It’s been a wacky road for Pella High senior, Garret Jansen. He had verbally committed to Cincinnati, but some complications made the deal undesirable, so he took a trip to Cedar Falls, and eventually was recruited by the Hawkeyes’ defensive line coach, where he and his family took in the Iowa – Wisconsin men’s basketball game on Saturday. Today, at Pella High at 2:00 p.m., the senior will officially sign his letter of intent to play football starting in 2015 for the University of Iowa.
