Having played them just over a week ago in their conference finale, Pella High welcomes back Oskaloosa to the Tulip City for the first round of the Class 3A district basketball tournament on Monday. The Little Dutch stomped on the Indians, 95 – 25, using a 30 – 0 run in the first quarter to put the game well out of reach. Both teams know what the other is capable of, so there will be little to no surprises in the 32 minutes of game play. Pella gave up 69 points to Centerville this past Tuesday, so a big key for Coach Mark Core tonight is to clamp down tighter on their already suffocating defense.
